A Poem for the First Day of NaPoWriMo

Moving Forward

I am
not always brave,
not always wise.
I do not always do the right things
or the best things.
I do not always stand firm,
unwavering in my convictions.

But I shall not hide away.
And in the end, when I look back,
I will not regret.
